At Chat Highlight, our Local Extension is free forever. This policy applies specifically to our Cloud Sync (Pro/Ultimate) subscriptions. We want you to be completely satisfied with your workflow. If the cloud features don't help you structure your knowledge effectively, we don't want your money.

7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a transparent refund policy. You have 7 days from your initial purchase to fully test Chat Highlight. If it's not the right fit for your workflow, simply contact us for a full refund.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

To ensure fairness, the following criteria apply to refund requests:

First-Time Subscribers: The 7-day guarantee applies to your first subscription only.
Annual Plans: If you subscribed to an Annual Plan and decide it's not for you within 7 days, you are eligible for a full refund.
Renewal Charges: We send reminder emails before renewing annual plans. However, if you forget to cancel and are charged, we offer a 7-day grace period after the renewal date to request a refund.

2. Cancellation vs. Refund

It is important to understand the difference between cancelling and refunding:

Cancellation: Stops future billing. You will retain access to VIP features until the end of your current billing cycle. You can cancel anytime from your Dashboard.
Refund: Returns your money. Your VIP access will be revoked immediately upon processing the refund.

3. How to Request a Refund

Please include the email address associated with your account. While not required, we appreciate knowing why the product didn't work for you—it helps us improve.

4. Processing Time

Refunds are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). Once we issue the refund:

You will receive a confirmation email immediately.
The funds typically appear on your bank statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank's processing times.
